Reviews
I had an excellent meal last night at the number one spot in parma but Rosa Croce might have beat that. The flavor, quality of food, service and excellent price were phenomenal. I think it was my best overall meal since my ten days in Italy.
The traditional tasting menu was top notch. The meat slice appetizer with pickled veggies and aged Parmesan was the best I had in Parma. The herb tortellini with parma and butter was delicious and the beef course absolutely melted in your mouth it was so tender. Soufflé and mango gelato also super.
Do not miss this spot for top notch dining in Parma. Bravo!
Fabulous dinner in Parma
We had the tradition menu for €35 euros and Barolo red wine €20
Wonderful staff and very handsome!
Thank you for a wonderful experience
Grazie Mille
I did the Traditional tasting menu and it was the perfect amount of food. Every dish was beyond delicious! The owner was beyond generous, giving us a local dessert wine and a digestive cocktail to my partner and myself, on the house. Very much worth it and highly recommended! (I wish I had taken better picutres to share)
Thanks again for everything!
Nice Location, belongs to Hotel Verdi. The former pizzeria san rocco did not exist anymore (had a good rating). 3 out of 4 people want the offered menu, but that was not feasible ?? They offer 2 menus, whereby all people always have to take the same menu (or not).. hard to understand. So we choose single dishes. They look nice, but dishes were really tasteless. Rarely eaten such bland food, ordered salt and pepper to get some taste in it. Service ok, but below standard compared to other locations we have been before. Smoked eggplant we could not eat at all. My wife had fish, no taste and cold..felt not very good after eating it. My pork full of fat and no taste.. Best was offered appetizer.. Price Performance not ok (230 euro for 4 persons for such bad quality), so max 2 stars. Did not even took pictures from food as we were so disappointed.. all agreed not worth for a second visit.
A really excellent dinner in Parma. Beautiful in its presentation. Celebrating local produce. Alessandro helped us to understand the menu and wines and was an absolutely charming guide through our exquisite meal.
Very nice place, good ambience and great food with decent wine pairings.
Sublime experience, great quality ingredients deserving of 5 stars.
Quiet and elegant place,
We had dinner for 2, the tasting menu is variable adding the difference.
Fried pie and cured meats were normal, tortelli (4) were good and well made, tagliolini were seasoned properly and the prawns were of excellent quality.
Typical second course from Parma cuisine, priest's hat and mashed potatoes, again a truly minimal portion.
Good desserts but without any pretension.
The wine recommended by the maitre was excellent.
Total 109 euros.
